Challenge
Unfortunately, many Christian schools struggle to maintain quality education and retain experienced staff in today’s competitive market. The ups and downs of donors and enrollment can be hard to predict and even harder to manage.
As Christian school leaders, why is it that we tend to dread our annual budgets meeting? Often, it’s due to the same battles that we face year over year, finding the balance of pricing our tuition rates at a reasonable rate, paying our teachers a fair salary and all the while doing our best to maintain a pleasant campus and keep our doors open.
God afforded us a wonderful opportunity to look at our financial plans through a unique lens after experiencing the trying pandemic of 2020. How did that change your outlook? Did that season afford you a time of doubt or a time of security? The question is not whether or not God could, but whether or not God would allow the school to continue.
Many were worried if this would be the time that would do them in. Why is that after several years of being in this ministry, that we would ever has this concern?
Solution
We exist to help schools develop an infinite financial strategy. By rethinking how we steward our resources, we want to help schools use what God has entrusted them with today to secure a better tomorrow.
Our mission is to reach as many Christian
educational institutions as possible for the
purpose of endowing their future and financially sustaining their mission for generations to come.
By doing so, every institution will have access to a consistent and perpetual income stream that will help fully fund and create further flexibility in their budgets!
This isn’t just about accumulating assets; it’s about using them to fulfill the Great Commission. It involves filling every classroom seat, hiring the best teachers, preparing for future challenges, and continue producing Christ-minded followers who will reach their world for Christ.

Our History
Fortify Foundation was birthed from the idea of establishing a stronger financial future in Christian education. While school leaders often emphasize pursuing excellence to their students, they often find their institutions struggling to survive economic challenges. Many schools rely heavily on private charitable contributions to balance their budgets, which can work well in good years but leaves them vulnerable when unexpected expenses arise, such as replacing HVAC systems or fixing roofs, or when there’s a decline in enrollment. The uncertainty during the pandemic left many schools unsure about their futures. Recognizing these challenges, our founders believed there had to be a better path forward for Christian schools.
How is it that some organizations are more financially flexible than others? The answer came through a couple of news articles and further understanding how many colleges / universities / other religious organizations operate. With this new knowledge and a Sunday afternoon conversation, the premise for Fortify Foundation was born. The aim was to establish an efficient and expert platform where Christian schools could grow a rainy day, scholarship, or other endowment fund. With this new tool, it would allow schools to steward their resources well and move them from a position of surviving to thriving. This isn’t just about accumulating assets; it’s about using them to fulfill the Great Commission. It involves filling every classroom seat, hiring the best teachers, preparing for future challenges, and continue producing Christ-minded followers who will reach their world for Christ.
We are grateful for the Christian teachers who invested in us, now it’s our turn to invest in them!
